About the Dentist                      

Dr. Niki J. Douros received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. After receiving her Doctorate degree she went on to complete a Post-Doctorate degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Nova Southeastern University in Miami, Florida. Her residency training consisted of Post-Doctorate training in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and prosthetics. She has successfully completed both the Western Regional Board Exam and the Florida Dental Boards. Dr. Douros received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Biology and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a member of the ADA, CDA, FDA, HADS and a recipient of the American Legion Award. Dr. Douros attends yearly educational seminars and continuing education courses to stay current with the latest technology and procedures in dentistry.

 

Services offered

Preventive:

We offer routine dental exams, cleanings and x-rays along with oral cancer screenings.  Sealants are also used to prevent future decay and custom nightguards are fabricated for cases that tooth clenching and grinding are evident.

Pediatric Dental Care:

Teach your children positive dental habits from the start.  Their first visit should be scheduled with the 6 months of their first tooth as is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  We advocate fluoride-releasing sealants and fluoride treatments in order to prevent decay.

Emergency Treatment:

Our goal is to get you out of discomfort, therefore we make sure you receive a same day appointment should a dental emergency arise.

Dental Implants:

Implants offer a great deal of stability and can help your replacement teeth feel more natural, secure, and comfortable.  Implants are titanium replacement tooth roots that are surgically placed below the gum line.  They are long lasting and improve the functions and the esthetics of your overall oral health.

Teeth Whitening:

We offer both take home whitening kits and a 1-HOUR in office whitening procedure that will significantly whiten your teeth.  Both use professional strength whitening products.

Cosmetic Dentistry:

You deserve to feel good about your smile and we can help.  We always take a cosmetic approach to every dental procedure and use tooth colored fillings that are barely detectable.  We replace pre-existing silver (amalgam) fillings to improve the esthetics of your smile.  In addition to esthetic restorative dentistry we offer porcelain/ lamintate veneers, porcelain crowns, and METAL FREE dentures. Oral Surgery:
